“If you don’t look after your body,
where are you going to live?”
A little bit about me…
When I read the quote above I had no idea how much it would change my life.
My interest in nutrition began almost a decade ago. I started working in the City of London and joined the pressurised corporate environment that’s underpinned by stress, stimulants, lack of sleep and poor nutrition. I watched as people pulled themselves through each day – learning to survive rather than thrive.
I’ve also had my fair share of suboptimal health – daily bloating, frequent headaches, constant nausea, severe PMS, depression and fatigue – which, for a time, I endured assuming what I felt was normal. It was only on reading the above quote that I decided I deserved better.
Struggling to find help that didn’t come in the form of a pharmaceutical pill, I began my journey to become a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist.
In Naturopathic and Functional Medicine, we view all the systems in the body as connected. We listen to symptoms as feedback from the body which help us identify the root cause. Helping people to improve their health through the principles of naturopathy is what drives me everyday.
I pride myself in being client-focused, on listening to how you feel and supporting you to take steps to feel better. Knowledge is power and I love to share insights so that you can take responsibility for your health and make good choices going forward.
I really enjoy working with my clients but when they are back to feeling their best, and ready to continue their journey without me, that’s when I know I’ve done my job.
I look forward to meeting you!
P.s something else you should also know about me… I love chocolate!
